Kazakhstan's Industrial and Innovation Strategy for 2003-2015 brings exciting opportunities for U.S. Businesses.

The goal of the Strategy [Download Strategy] is diversification of the economy by developing non-extraction industries through technological innovation. Over one billion dollars per year is planned to implement the Strategy, of which the Government of Kazakhstan will contribute $260 million annually. Under the framework of the Strategy, this Conference is an effort to build partnerships with U.S. businesses in the following key industries:


In addition, partnerships are sought with investment funds and venture capital groups.

U.S. investment in Kazakhstan has reached nearly $11 billion since 1993, including $3.1 billion in 2004 alone. U.S. market leaders in aerospace, consumer products, energy, financial services, information technology, manufacturing, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals are doing profitable business in Kazakhstan today.
